Spicy Sesame Linguine w/Shrimp
ingredients
Linguine- 1 pkg Al Dente brand spicy sesame linguine (if you can’t find it in a store it can be ordered from http://aldentepasta.com/ ) or other similar flavored pasta
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lb uncooked shrimp
- 4 scallions, sliced
- 3/4 lb of bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sherry
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 Tbsp chili paste w/garlic
- 1 Tbsp Hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp ginger root, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt

Bring a pasta pot to a boil w/salt added. Add the pasta and cook according to pkg directions. (The Al Dente brand takes only 3 minutes because it is already partially cooked.)

Meanwhile in a large skillet heat the two oils. Stir fry the shrimp until it begins to lose its raw color. Add the scallions, bean sprouts, and sauce. Then add the drained pasta and stir everything until blended.

Top with toasted sesame seeds.
