Homemade Hummus
Healthy snack ~ spread on crackers, pita bread, vegetables, sandwich wraps, etc.
ingredients
- 1 (15 oz) can garbanzo beans, drained
- 2 Tbsp tahini or toasted sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 lg. garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp vinegar

Mix all ingredients in food processor until smooth.

Hummus will thicken after refrigeration and is good for at least 2 weeks in fridge.

Spinach Artichoke Hummus:

Chipotle Hummus:

+ 3 cloves roasted garlic, pureed

+ 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, more if desired
