Chinese Cole Slaw
Tom’s Lori and I both make this yummy salad. Edna loves it so much that she always eats too much and gives herself a stomach ache!
ingredients
SALAD- 20 oz Shredded Cabbage
- 8 Green Onions/Sliced Thin
- 3/4 cup Toasted Slivered Almonds
- 1/2 cup Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 2 Packages Chinese Ramen Noodles
- 1 Cup Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Pepper
directions
SALAD
Just before serving, combine all ingredients & toss with the Rice Wine Vinaigrette Dressing.
RICE WINE VINAIGRETTE DRESSING
Mix together and toss with Cole Slaw.
notes
Don't forget to toast the almonds and sesame seeds. You'll really miss the flavor if you don't. Also, make sure you eat it all, because it is no good as leftovers.
