Creamy Four-Cheese Macaroni
ingredients
- 2 2/3 c. milk
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. shredded fontina
- 1/2 c. shredded Parmesan
- 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar
- 3 oz. processed cheese
- 3 c. elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. crushed onion Melba toast (about 12 pieces)
- 1 T. butter, softened

Preheat oven to 375°. Whisk together milk and flour in a large saucepan; cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, 8 minutes or until thickened. Add cheeses, and cook, whisking often, 3 minutes or until cheeses melt. Stir in macaroni and pepper. Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.

Combine crushed Melba toast and butter in a small bowl; stir until well blended. Sprinkle over macaroni mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
