Tracy's Bruschetta
not your usual bruschetta - this is a rich and cheesy variation
ingredients
- 1/2 cup miracle whip or mayonnaise
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 tomatoes, seeded and finely diced (I usually add more)
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup canned black olives, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. sweet basil
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- Baguette
- Butter or margarine to butter baguette
- 1 or 2 cloves of garlic, minced
directions
Combine first 8 ingredients in bowl and mix. Cut baguette, add garlic to butter and butter the top side of each baguette slice. Place onto a baking sheet. Spread mixture over bread slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
