Quick and Easy Onion Soup

ingredients

  • 3 large onions
  • 2 cans Beef broth
  • 1/4 stick of butter or margarine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • French Bread

directions

Slice the onions into very thin rings. In large pot, saute onions in the butter until well wilted. Add broth and season. Cook for at least 15 minutes or until all is very soft. Pour individual servings into oven proof bowls. Top with slice of french bread and cheese. Place in oven and broil till bubbly.
