Butterscotch Cashew Bars
ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 3/4 c packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/4 t salt
- Topping:
- 1/4 c light corn syrup
- 1 c butterscotch chips
- 2 T butter
- 1 T water
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 1/2 c cashew halves and pieces
directions
Preheat oven to 350. Combine crust ingredients until mixture is coarse crumbs. Press into bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes. Place all topping ingredients except cashews into saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth. Stir in cashews. Spread over hot crust, then continue baking for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
