Steakhouse Bruschetta
ingredients
- 24 slices baguettes
- olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 3/4 pound boneless sirloin steak
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 tbl. white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 1/2 cups tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tbl. olive oil
- basil leaves

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and toast 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool, rub with garlic. Season steak with salt and pepper. Hear a skillet over medium high. Sear steak for 4 minutes on each side (for medium rare). Let rest 10 minutes, then dice.

Mix mayonnaise, blue cheese, vinegar and mustard together. In a second bowl, toss tomatoes, basil, and 2 tbl. oil with steak. Salt to taste. Spread cheese mixture on bread and top with steak mixture. Garnish with basil.
