Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese
ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) package macaroni
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups high quality shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup buttered breadcrumbs

You can also freeze in zip-lock bags for later use. Once you have mixed the macaroni with the cheese sauce, allow to cool to room temperature before adding to your freezer. Thaw the night before serving and bake as described.
