Fried Rice
ingredients
- Cooked Brown Rice
- 1/2 large onion, sliced
- 2 Chicken breasts, sliced
- 1/4 cabbage, sliced thin
- 1 grated carrot
- Zucchini, diced
- 1 cup sliced Shitake Mushrooms (dried & soaked)
- 2 cups sliced Broccoli
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- Toasted Sesame seeds
- Sliced left over roasted beef
- Grape seed oil & Sesame oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (when mixing the veggies and rice start with a small amt and add as you taste)
directions
Cook Brown Rice per package instructions. When done either refrigerate overnight or place in Freezer to cool. Caramelize onions and mushrooms in oil, and then add sliced chicken until done. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste.. Set aside. Fry remainder of veggies except parsley, until done (appx. 10 minutes). Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste. Mix cooked rice and parsley to cooked veggies and chicken and Beef to warm everything and to adjust any seasonings. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
