Chili Verde

ingredients

  • 2 c. cubed cooked pork (about 1 lb.)
  • 16 oz. Kidney beans rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz. Pinto beans rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz. Chili with beans undrained
  • 14 oz. Stewed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. green salsa
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 – 4 oz. Chopped green chilies
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 T. minced fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 2 t. ground cumin

directions

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
