Chili Verde
ingredients
- 2 c. cubed cooked pork (about 1 lb.)
- 16 oz. Kidney beans rinsed and drained
- 15 oz. Pinto beans rinsed and drained
- 15 oz. Chili with beans undrained
- 14 oz. Stewed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. green salsa
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 – 4 oz. Chopped green chilies
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 T. minced fresh cilantro or parsley
- 2 t. ground cumin
directions
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
