Multigrain Pancakes
In all of our recipes we try to include various grains and nuts. These pancakes are very healthy yet absolutely scrumptious.
ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cup of whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 Tablespoons of granulated or packed brown sugar
- 4 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 6 Teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon of salt
- Big handful of sunflower seeds
- Small handful of flax seed
directions
Beat eggs in a medium bowl. Mix in all remaining ingredients except nuts and seeds. Add nuts and seeds. Add 1-2 Tablespoons of milk for thinner pancakes. Heat skillet to medium heat. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle or skillet. Flip when bubbly and underside is easily moved. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
