Broccoli and Rice
Use as a side dish, or add cubed or shredded cooked chicken or turkey to turn it into a main course. This is what I ask my mother-in-law to make for my birthday every year.
ingredients
- 3 C. Minute Rice, uncooked (this is enough for 6 servings, or 1 small box)
- 1 bag frozen cut broccoli pieces
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 8 oz. Velveeta, cubed
- 1 1/2 C. milk
- 1 stick oleo, cut into pieces
- 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 C. cooked and cubed or shredded chicken or turkey
directions
Mix all ingredients (including chicken or turkey for main course) and spoon into a 9X13 dish or pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
