Gertrude's Oven Steak
Aunt Gertrude was Moms favorite Aunts. She lived in Greenwood, Mississippi.
ingredients
- Plump round steak
- Flour
- Salt and pepper
- Cooking oil
- 1 Tsp. vinegar
- Water

Beat to a pulp round steak using a hammer.

Dredge meat in flour, good.

Salt and pepper.

Cover a 13 x 9 pyres with light coat cooking oil.

Place steak in dish in 400 degree oven. Cook til brown on one side. Turn and brown the other side.

Add 1 Tbsp. vinegar to one cup of water. Pour over steak and cook until liquid looks like gravy.
