3X Chicolate Cookies Naemi's Way
Thick and chewy chocolate cookies to die for
ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chip/chopd
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 cuo firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 6 oz semi-sweet choc or white chips

Melt butter and bittersweet chocolate in microwave or double boiler. Stir until glossy.

Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and cloves together in a large bowl.

Mix eggs, brown sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl.

Slowly whisk/stir the chocolate mixture into the egg/sugar mixture.

Pour this new mixture into the flour. Stir to make a loose dough, don’t over mix.

Fold in chips.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours to make it malleable.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for convection oven).

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Form dough into 2 inch balls. Place balls a couple of inches apart on baking sheet.

Bake 13 - 15 minutes until outside is cracked but center is moist.

Move to a rack after 2 minutes rest on the baking sheet and allow to cool completely.
