Grandma's Mexican Cornbread
ingredients
- 1.5 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup creamed corn
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 6 green onions chopped
- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1-3 jalapeno peppers with seeds
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
directions
Mix all ingredients. Bake in heavy skillet at 450 for 25 minutes.
