Strawberry Pies

Submitted by Paula Goforth-Thompson. This is a great way to use the fresh strawberries that are in abundance in the South in early Spring. Perfect for a hot, summer day! Recipe makes two pies - one to keep and one to share!
ingredients
For pies:- 3 oz. box Strawberry Jello
- pinch of salt
- 2 heaping tblsp. cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 qt. strawberries
- 2-3 drops red food coloring
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
