CRAB DIP
GREAT APPETIZER FOR THE SEAFOOD LOVER! GOOD WITH A MARGARITA!
ingredients
- For the crab dip:
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 c crumbled feta
- About 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, optional
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 1/2 cups (about 12 ounces) fresh lump crabmeat, drained and picked over
- 1 tsp old bay
- 1tsp garlic powder
- Monterey Jack cheese
- Cream together mayo, Dijon, lemon juice and cream cheese
- Combine all the rest except Monterey Jack
- Place mixture in oven safe dish
- Top with Jack and bake until melted
- Brown under broiler
