Chicken Tetrazinni
ingredients
- 7 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken into small pieces (3rds or 4ths)
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/4 C flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 C chicken bouillon
- 1 C whipping cream
- 2T sherry
- 2 C cut-up cooked chicken
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/2 C parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350. Cook spaghetti as directed on pkg; drain.

Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat, stir in bouillon and cream. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in sherry, spaghetti, chicken and mushrooms. Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle w/ cheese. Bake until bubbly in center - about 30 min. Brown top by placing briefly under broiler, if desired.
