Hawaiian Chicken Sandwiches
ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 bottle teriyaki sauce or marinade
- Pinch of ginger.
- 1 can pineapple rings
- Swiss cheese
- Wheat buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato

Place chicken breasts in large plastic bag. Open pineapple can and drain juices into the plastic bag. Add teriyaki marinade or sauce to the plastic bag to cover the chicken. Add a pinch of ginger to the bag.

Seal the bag and shake contents to mix. Let marinade for at least an hour.

Remove chicken from bag. Cook chicken breasts in skillet over medium heat about 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until done. Baste with marinade while cooking. Add pineapple to the pan during the last minute or two.

Place a slice of Swiss cheese over each breast and turn off heat. When cheese is melted, place breast on bun and top with pineapple ring. Garish with lettuce and tomato and serve immediately.
