Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding
A great alternative to banana bread for getting rid of over ripe bananas!
ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups cubed French bread
- 4 bananas, mashed
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
directions

Mix the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and mashed bananas together until mostly smooth.

Add the cubed french bread, mix, and allow the bread to sit for five minutes soaking in the mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x5 loaf pan.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the bread pudding. It should come out clean.
