Pizza Margherita
ingredients
- 1 - 12-inch prepared pizza shell or dough
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp julienned sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic - minced
- 4 oz grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tomatoes thinly sliced
- 8 fresh basil leaves - whole or sliced
directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spread the olive oil on pizza shell. Sprinkle with 1 oz of Parmesan cheese. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Place sliced tomatoes on top and then the rest of the ingredients. Bake pizza for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and begins to brown.
