As far back as I can remember, the kids always ate at the dinner table with the adults, no matter how big the crowd.

ingredients

  • 1 package (8oz.) seasoned bread stuffing
  • 1 stick melted butter or oleo
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cups diced chicken
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 3/4 Tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 eggs

    Put mixture in casserole over bread mixture. Top remaining bread mixture.

    Beat 2 eggs slightly, add one cup milk, pour over bread mixture, cover with foil.

    Refrigerate overnight, Take out one hour before baking.

    Spread 1 can cream of mushroom soup over top.

  • 5

    Bake uncovered in 325 degree oven for 40 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Return to oven for 10 minutes.
