Classic 007 Martini

The key to a classic martini is for it to be very cold. Everything used to make the martini should be as cold as possible (store in freezer).

ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • 3 olives on a martini skewer
  • 1/2 cocktail shaker ice cubes

directions

    1. Remove shaker from freezer and fill half full with ice.

    2. Pour gin, vodka and dry vermouth over the ice.

    3. Shake vigorously (do not stir) for 10 to 15 seconds.

    4. Remove martini glass from freezer and place olives in glass.

  • 5

    5. Pour martini mixture from the shaker over the olives in the glass.

  • 6

    6. Make sure you have tylenol for the morning!
