Tarte de Tomates
Diane brought this tasty recipe back from one of her trips to Belgium.
ingredients
- Packaged pie shell
- Grainy Dijon Mustard
- Minced ham
- Grated mixture of Emmentaler and Gruyere cheese
- 4 large tomatoes
- Salt, Pepper
- Herbs de Provence

Partially bake pie shell, about 5 minutes, then cool completely.

Spread shell thinly with grainy mustard

Top mustard with minced ham.

Spread 2 cups of mixed cheeses over ham

Slice tomatoes thinly and arrange in circular pattern over cheese.

Sprinkle with seasonings.

Bake at 375 about 20 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
