Pie Pumpkin

ingredients

  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 cups pumpkin (29 oz can)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 3 1/2 cups evaporated milk (26 oz)
  • 2 9 inch pie shells

directions

Mix filling ingredients in order given. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center of pie filling comes out clean. Cool; garnish with real whipping cream.
