Russian Tea Cakes (Mexican Wedding Cookies)
ingredients
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup walnut and pecan meal (put both in blender to make total of one cup)
- 1/2 pound butter
directions
Cream butter and sugar together. Add rest of ingredients and mix with hands. Roll into balls. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and then roll in the powdered sugar. They freeze well.
