Shrimp Jambalaya
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups white rice
- 1 (28 oz) can diced peeled tomatoes
- 3/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 celery ribs, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chopped ham or chicken
- 1 pound peeled shrimp

In a 4 quart slow cooker, mix together all the ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the rice is tender but not sticky and mushy.
