Sombrero Dip
ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 - 10 oz. can diced tomatos
- 1 can green chilies
- 4 - 5 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 cans refried beans
- 5 c. shredded cheese
- 1 c. chopped green olives

Cook the ground beef in a large skillet. Stir in tomatos, chili powder, cumin and garlic salt. Simmer until the liquid is slightly reduced. Add refried beans and heat through. Add 4 cups of the cheese and stir into mixture.

Pour the mixture into a large round chafing dish. Arrange the olives in a mound in the center on top of the mixture. Arrange tomatos in a circle surrounding the olives, then arrange the remaining 1 c. cheese in a circle surrounding the tomatos.

Serve with tortilla chips.
