Rice Pilaf
ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 1/2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 cubes chicken bullion mixed with
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cloves minced garlic

Sauté vegetables in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients.

Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes or until moisture is well absorbed into rice. Fluff with fork.

Optional* add 1 cup frozen peas and or 1 T. parsley flakes. Add ten minutes to cooking time if you add optional ingredients.
