Fruit Crisp
This is the best crisp anywhere.
ingredients
- Filling
- 4 c fruit or berries
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon/lime rind
- 1 c apples
- Crisp
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c flour
- 1/2 c chopped pecans
- 1 c rolled oats
- 1 c butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Combine filling ingredients until mixed evenly. Spread in the bottom of the pan. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients for the crisp. Cut in butter until crumbly. Spread evenly over fruit mixture and pack it down. Bake for 45 minutes if fruit is fresh, 60 if frozen.
