BRUNCH CASSEROLE

This sultry and satisfying dish will sate your guests with the true essence of breakfast and lunch, combined into a single source of absolute comfort cuisine!
ingredients
- 1 16 oz. roll of fresh sausage (reg), browned and drained
- 1 C white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 med eggs, beaten
- 2 C half and half cream
- 1/2 C green onions, finely chopped (optional)
- 2 bread slices (white), crumbled
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder (granulated)
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
directions
Plan to prepare the night before, or at least 6 hours ahead. Combine all ingredients, except cheese and paprika, in a 2 quart casserole and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, then sprinkle cheese over top of casserole and bake for additional 20 minutes. Sprinkle paprika over melted cheese. Serve HOT!
