Jazzed up Green Beans
ingredients
- 3 slices bacon, cut up
- 1/4 cup sliced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans kitchen sliced green beans or 1# fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- lemon pepper seasoning and garlic salt, to taste

Brown bacon, celery and onion in frying pan.

At the same time warm canned beans or steam frozen/fresh beans in the microwave. Drain liquid and put beans in saucepan. Stir in the bacon mixture and diced tomato.

Mix together cornstarch, vinegar and seasoning. Add to bean mixture and cook on low heat for several minutes, stirring frequently until glazed.
