Pizza Crust


This dough you can make and use the same day.

  • 1 c warm water
  • 2 T melted margarine or olive oil
  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T salt
Save a shopping List


Mix first 3 ingredients and let sit one minute. Add remaining ingredients. Mix together. Turn on floured board; knead 3-4 minutes. Let rise until double. Divide in 1/2 for thin crust. Spread on greased and corn-mealed pan. Bake at 400° with toppings (see note). Watch for crust to turn golden brown.

Recipe Notes

Edit note

You can pre-bake the crust and allow it to cool or freeze it to keep. Add toppings and bake until cheese is melted.
