Overnight Breakfast Casserole
A great do ahead breakfast when you have company
ingredients
- 6 slices of bread (A little stale works best, too fresh makes it doughy)
- 1 1/2 c milk
- 12 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 c. Crumbled bacon, chopped ham, or sausage cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 c shredded cheese
directions
Cube 6 slices of bread and place in the bottom of a 9X13 buttered casserole. Combine milk, eggs and salt. Pour the egg mixture over the bread. Cover with 2 cups of cooked meat, cover that with cheese. Let stand covered overnight. Bake uncovered in a 350 oven for 30-35 minutes. Serves 12
