Christmas Sandwich Cookies

Makes 40-60 cookies

2 cookies made with walnuts in the dough, made into a sandwich with frosting.

ingredients

COOKIES
·1 cup (2 sticks) of Butter
·1 cup of Sugar
·1 large Egg
·1 Tablespoon Milk
·1 teaspoon Vanilla
·2 1/2 cups regular all-purpose Flour
·1 teaspoon Baking Powder
·1/4 teaspoon salt
·1/2 cup chopped Walnuts
FROSTING
·1 Tablespoons Butter
·1 3/4 cups Confectioners Sugar
·1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
·3-4 Tablespoons Light Cream or Half & Half
·Food Coloring
