Jessie's Pizza
A homemade pizza, made just how you like it.
ingredients
Sauce- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp. minced garlic (the jar kind that you keep in the fridge)
- 3tbsp. oil (I use vegetable oil- it would probably be healthier to use olive oil.)
- 1-2 tbsp.oregano
- 1tbsp. basil
- Great Value Pizza Mix at Wal-Mart – you just add water. (I use 2 packages to make my 9X13" pizza.) I let my dough sit and get a little poofy in a warm spot for just a few minutes. Have a little flour handy for spreading the dough.
- I pour a little vegetable oil in the bottom of my pan and rub it around with a paper towel to evenly coat.
directions
- 1
Brown the minced garlic in the oil in a medium saucepan- medium high heat. You have to stir it around and watch it or it will burn. Once the garlic is brown, spoon it out leaving the now garlic flavored oil. Add a can of tomato sauce and spices. Stir and let simmer on low heat. The longer the sauce simmers the yummier it is. I aim for at least 30 minutes. You can cut up your veggies and prepare the crust while the sauce simmers
