Jack's Favorite Crock Pot Angel Chicken
Both my boys love this recipe...Jack just about licks the pot clean, which always makes the Mommy happy.
ingredients
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 1 8 oz. package sliced, fresh white or shitake mushrooms (I’ve also used Baby Bella)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 0.7-oz. package Italian dry salad dressing mix
- 1 10 3/4-oz. can condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 of an 8 oz. tub cream cheese with chives and onion (I’ve also used light vegie or Bourson)
- Hot cooked brown rice or angel hair pasta
- Snipped fresh chives (optional)

Place chicken and mushrooms in a 3 1/2 -4 quart slow cooker. Melt the butter in a saucepan; stir in italian dressing mix. Stir in soup, white wine and cream cheese until combined. Pour over the chicken.

Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 4-5 hours.

Serve chicken and sauce over cooked rice or pasta. If desired, sprinkle with chives.
