Breakfast Casserole II
ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
- 4 cups cubed bread
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 cans Evaporated Milk
- 10 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- black pepper, to taste

Grease 13x9-inch baking dish.

Place bread in baking dish.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Combine evaporated milk, eggs, dry mustard and onion powder in medium bowl.

Beat; pour evenly over bread and cheese.

Sprinkle with sausage.

Cover; refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.

Cover with foil if top browns too quickly.

Season with black pepper.
notes
May also add diced green peppers, jalapeno peppers or green chilies.
