Crunchy Cheeseroni
Main dish casserole
ingredients
- 2 c macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 10oz can tomato sauce
- 1 can french fried onion rings
- 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until al dente, about 10 mins. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in skillet;drain excess fat. Drain cooked macaroni. In a bowl, combine soup and tomato sauce. Stir in ground beef and macaroni. Pour half of the mixture in a 9x13 pan. Layer with 1/2 of the onion rings and half of the cheese. Place remaining macaroni mixture on top. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake 25 mins. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 onion rings on top and bake 5 mins longer.
