ingredients
- 1 lb. of ground beef or vegeburger
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 Tbsp. Taco seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 can sliced olives
- 1 Tblsp. margarine
- 6 corn tortillas (6 in.)
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup water

Brown the beef or vegeburger & onion. Add tomato sauce, garlic & taco seasoning, salt, pepper, & olives. Lightly butter tortilla, place buttered side down in 2 qt. cassarole dish. Top with 1/2 cup of meat mixture and sprinkle with about 1/3 cup of cheese.

Repeat layers ending with cheese.

Pour water around edge of casserole, (not over the top of the stack)

Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes til heated thru. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into wedges.
