CARAMEL SLICE
ingredients
- BASE
- 6 Scotch Finger Biscuits
- 4 Ginger Nut Biscuits
- 2tbsp Melted Butter
- TOPPING
- 400ml Condensed Milk
- 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
- 50g Melted Butter
- Block of Cooking Chocolate (Dark or Milk)

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

In food processor blend the biscuits til fine.

Add biscuits to melted butter and stir through.

Press firmly into lined 22cm x 12cm tin.

Over medium heat on stove mix can of condensed milk, syrup and butter.

Cook whisking for 8 minutes or until golden brown.

Pour topping over base and bake for 12 minutes or until firm.

Cool completely and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until set.

Once cooled and set, melt chocolate in a bowl over boiling water and pour over caramel.

Refrigerate til set, slice & enjoy!
