Ugly and Tasty: Meat and cheese open face snackPamela Fear
Robin and I enjoyed these as afterschool snacks when we were kids. (That may explain my weight today.)

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb spicy breakfast sausage
- 1 pound velveeta
- 1 pkg party rye bread
Toast rye bread on one side.
Brown and cook beef and sausage; drain. Add velveeta to meat in pan. stir to combine cheese and meat.
Top each piece of bread with approx 2-3 T of the meat mixture. Place into oven to heat until cheese mixture is bubbly.
Prepared bread slices can be frozen. Just toast or broil to heat through and serve.
