Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies
ingredients
- 1 Cup softened butter
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1/3 Cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbs cider or white vinegar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 3/4 Cups whole wheat flour
- 1 Cup quick oats
- 1 Cup dried cranberries
- 1 Cup chocolate chips or chunks

Preheat oven to 350°

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugars, vanilla, salt and vinegar. Beat in the egg, then the baking soda, flour and oats. Stir in the cranberries and chocolate chips.

Drop large scoops of dough onto cookie sheets and flatten lightly. Bake until cookies are golden brown 15-18 minutes.

Dark chocolate chips would also be good instead of semi-sweet. ! Cup chopped pecans can also be added.
