Efrat's Lasagana
ingredients
- about one box of lasagna noodles, un cooked.
- 1/2 to 3/4 ground beef
- 1 onion(big)
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 1 big can(about 16 oz) of tomato sauce or diced tomato
- 1 cup of water
- For Basmal Sauce:
- 8-16oz light or heavy cream (can be substituted with milk or soy milk)
- 2 Tablespoon of flour
- 50gr (1 stick) of butter

prepare meat:

Fry lightly the diced onion and

garlic(about 1 -2 min) add meat and tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, no longer, on a medium heat.

Basmal sauce:

melt the butter on a low heat in a pan, when all melted add the flour and mix well till it dries. quickly add the whipping cream / milk till you get smooth porridge texture.

Use a Pyrex pan and put one layer of lasagna noodles and one layer of meat. Keep adding the alternating layers, noodles and meat.Quantities should be enough for 2-3 layers depend on the size of the pan.

Last (top)layer should be leaves.

Put the Basmal sauce on the leaves.

bake at 350F, covered with foil for about 30-45 min. then take off the foil and bake 5-10 min more to make it brown on top.Turn off heat and leave in the half open oven for 10-15 min before serving.
