Skor Bar Dip ( for fruit, apples, pears etc)
ingredients
- 2 pkg cream cheese softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 skor bars (chopped)
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream
- Caramel Sauce
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream

Combine cream cheese and brown sugar in a bowl. Mix well. Fold in 2 handfuls of the chopped skor bar. Place into serving dishes. (I use a large ramekin)

Caramel Sauce;

You can buy the caramel sauce or make your own.

If you make your own, just remember to let it cool a bit and then add the cream.

Place sugar and water in a pan. With heat on med to med high stir until it starts to melt. Once mixture starts to turn light brown, DON’T walk away, it goes really fast and it will burn. Continue to stir until all is melted and it is a nice golden brown color. Remove from heat. Place in a bowl and allow to cool a bit before you add your cream. Slowly add cream and continue to stir. Add as much cream to make is easily to pour but not runny.

Allow this to cool down almost to room temp before you pour over the cream cheese mixture.

Sprinkle the remaining skor bar on top.
