Kona Inn Banana Bread
From Denise, a healthy banana bread recipe.
ingredients
- 6 large bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cup white flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Preheat the oven to 350°F / 175°C and prepare 2 loaf tins by greasing and flouring.

Sift dry ingredients together; cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add bananas to the butter mixture, then slowly incorporate the dry ingredients and stir in the chopped nuts. Bake for 50 minutes or longer, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
