Crab Stew
ingredients
- 3/4 C chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 T butter
- 2 cans evaporated. Milk
- 2 cups water
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pt. crab meat
directions
Sauté onions & celery in butter until tender. Whisk in flour until smooth. Add water & seasonings and let it come to gentle boil, add crab, cook for one minute. Add evaporated. milk and let stew get hot, but NOT boiling.
