Sweet Potato Crunch
One of my favorite sweet side dishes for Thanksgiving.
ingredients
- 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1/3 stick butter, melted

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla flavoring in one bowl.

3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, nuts, and butter.

4. Combine both bowls and mix together.

5. Pour into a 2 quart buttered casserole dish.

6. Bake for 35 minutes. Then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
