Herb Bread
A special memory from when Mel was a baby.
ingredients
- 1 c whole wheat flour
- 1 c unbleached white flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soday
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Sift all of this together & place in a large bowl with a well in the middle.
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp butter/marg, melted,or 1/4 c oil
- 1 c plain yogurt
- 1/3 c honey
- Blend all together in a blender til frothy.

1/2 tsp ea: basil,oregano,thyme,dill,tarragon

Combine & add to wet ingredients, blend for 30 seconds.

Pour into well of dry mix, and mix together.

Pour into greased bread pan.

Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes/til brown

This can be made pareve by substituting soy milk for yogur, using oil instead of butter. BUT if no yogurt,don’t use baking soda,just 1 1/2 tsp baking powder instead.
